Welcome to Bali Insight Living! 

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your subscription to Bali Insight Living's concierge services. Please read them carefully before subscribing. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview of Subscription Services

Bali Insight Living offers subscription-based concierge services designed to enhance your retirement or relocation experience in Bali. Services available through your subscription may include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Personalized Concierge Assistance:  Assistance with visas, health enrolment, driving licenses, bank setup

  • Property Management Support: Find an initial place to stay and refer to agents / freelance individuals to assist in finding the right property for you. Able to inspect the property to give input and review the contract terms.  

  • Local Expertise & Cultural Guidance: Help with navigating local customs, where to buy what, where to find things, and where to go, supported by “back end” intranet access to directories and resources 

  • On-Call Services: Assistance on whatsapp for any queries or questions, no matter how big or small. Find trusted handymen, electricians, plumbers, or other services to maintain your property.

    Note: Specific services (see separate schedule) may vary based on the subscription plan chosen and the availability of certain services at different locations in Bali. Certain services will only apply a specific number of times and re-occurrences will be chargeable.

     

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Bali Insight Living offers the following subscription plans:
 

Please note: All pricing is in Australian Dollars and is non-refundable once the subscription period starts. Subscription fees may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
 

3. Service Request Time Limitations

The details of the inclusions of the different plans are laid out in the schedule at https://www.baliinsightliving.com/plan-and-pricing 
 

  • Bronze Plan: includes up to 5 follow-up and service inquiries or requests, with a maximum of 15 minutes per request or 75 minutes 

  • Gold Plan:  The Gold Plan includes a maximum of 3 service inquiries or requests per month; however, each request is limited to 20 minutes or 60 minutes (1 hour) of concierge time per month.

  • Platinum Plan: For the Platinum Plan, this includes time spent on specific responsibilities outlined in the schedule such as assisting with the visa arrangements, bank setup, driving license,  other requests are limited to a total of 120 minutes per month.

Unused service requests and time limits do not roll over into the following month. Any service that exceeds the time limit will incur an additional charge of $30 per hour, billed in 1 hour increments.

4. Subscription Duration and Renewal

Your subscription is valid for a period of one year starting from the date of purchase.

Renewal: If the subscriber has not as yet settled in Bali and is still in the planning stages then the subscriber has the option to subscribe once again before the subscription expires. 


Termination: Bali Insight Living reserves the right to terminate a subscription for violation of these terms or abusive behaviour towards Team Members.

5. Service Availability

Services are available during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Bali time. Some services, such as emergency assistance, may be available 24/7. Availability of specific services may depend on local conditions or third-party vendor schedules.

6.  Membership Intranet access

  • Intranet not to be shared 

  • Bali Insight Living disclaims any responsibility for the quality of service or any issues arising from listings on their platform.

7. Additional Charges

Certain services may involve third-party providers or suppliers. In these cases:

  • You are responsible for any third-party costs (e.g., contractor fees, transportation fees, etc.).

  • Bali Insight Living will obtain your approval before incurring any additional costs on your behalf.

 
Any service beyond your subscription limits or requiring more time than allocated will incur additional charges as per the agreed rates.

8. Limitation of Liability

​

Bali Insight Living aims to provide top-tier concierge services; however, we are not responsible for:

- Any delays or failures caused by third-party vendors or service providers.
- Loss or damage of personal property during third-party services.
- Medical outcomes or decisions based on recommendations by Bali Insight Living.

While we strive to assist in all ways possible, Bali Insight Living does not guarantee specific outcomes from the services provided.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Bali Insight Living respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the subscription process or service requests is used solely for fulfilling our services. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent unless required by law.

10. Refund Policy

Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started. However, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, please reach out to us at hello@baliinsightliving.com and we will address your concerns on a case-by-case basis.

11. Changes to Terms

Bali Insight Living reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after such modifications will indicate your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.

By subscribing to Bali Insight Living, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


Appendix A

Definition of services within the scope of the schedules

Services Included in the Packages:
1. Accommodation Assistance
   - Introduction to property agents to source and suggest suitable property options
   - Assistance with negotiations and legal documentation (contract review) for long-term stays

2. Visa and Legal Services
   - Initial introduction to visa agent and Visa application and extension services
   - Assistance with choosing the correct visa for the individual circumstances.


3. Healthcare Navigation
   - Assistance with setting up the BPJS (local National health insurance)
   - Connecting with local doctors, specialists, and hospitals
   - Referral, support and guidance with international healthcare insurance setup

4. Banking and Financial Setup
   - Assistance with opening bank accounts in Indonesia.
   
5. Driving License 
- Assistance and referral for sorting out the driving license.

6. Daily Life Assistance
   - Handling queries by whatsapp / email with regards to daily assistance needs.

5. Community and Social Integration
   - Invitations to local expat or retiree community events
   - Help finding hobby groups or local activities
   - Access to the database and Bali Insight Living resource

6. Cultural Orientation
   - Recommendations for Language and cultural sensitivity training

   
Services Outside the Package (Extra Charge):


These services most likely will involve the services of a third party
1.  Property Search
     Inspecting and finding long terms properties.
     Liaising with permanent accommodation provider on issues.
2. Personalized Travel and Tour Services
   - Private guides for exclusive tours or custom travel arrangements.
3. Legal Disputes and Complex Legal Support
   - Handling legal issues beyond visa and documentation (e.g., business disputes)
4. Special Renovation or Construction Projects
   - Oversight of property renovation, construction, or interior design.
5. Assistance with technical issues and problems
   - Assistance with setting up mobile devices.
   - Help managing payment APPs (Ovo/Go Pay etc).
   - Accompanying the client to various offices (ie Immigration, Drivers license, Telkomsel etc)
6. Out of Office 
  - Any travel out from the office for meetings and coordination. 
7. Custom Import/Export Assistance
   - Support with importing personal belongings or complex customs issues.
8. Employment of staff 
   - Coordinating personal security or high-level security systems for residences.
